A home for a brand with a lot to say, without overwhelming the reader.
Life of W is Wahine Capital's financial literacy platform for women across Malaysia. It covers budgeting, investing, community events, expert connections, and W Vault, a secure document vault.
I built the site from scratch, solo, using Astro.
The content was the main challenge. Wahine Capital runs multiple products such as W Vault, the Wahine Financial Awareness video series, the Wahine Community, and a network of financial experts, each with its own audience and purpose. Getting all of that onto one site without it feeling like a brochure that swallowed another brochure took some work.
Astro was a good fit: the site is content-heavy and mostly static, and speed mattered. I structured the pages to stay fast as the sections stacked up.
After I handed it off, Wahine Capital was featured in The Edge, BFM, and Astro Awani, and was a runner-up at the UN WEPs Awards for Innovative Financing.
